All Rides Leave From Gracey Manor Motel (9:00 am unless noted)

  Tues - June 20th  Early Bird Riders, " Welcome" get-together and Cookout  to be held at Steve's house 6:00 PM All Early Bird arrivals and all Volunteers. Gary will Depart from Gracey Manor at 5:30 PM to lead ride to Steve's House at the Smoky Mountain Country Club. Please RSVP  at steve.vergo@att.net

*Get on US-74 E/Great Smoky Mountains Expy towards Sylva
Follow US-74 E/Great Smoky Mountains Expy to State Rd 1531 Take exit 72 from US-74 E/Great Smoky Mountains E to State Rd 1531 (Whittier )
Merge onto State Rd 1531 .01 MI
Turn left onto Main St (by post office) 436 feet
Continue over tracks onto Whittier Depot Rd 354 ft
Turn left onto Whittier Depot St 
Turn right onto Old Bryson City Rd 0.1 mi
Take the 1st left onto Conleys Creek Rd ( go past the Smoky Mountain Country Club Club house) 
Turn right onto Sam Dills (go over small bridge) 
Take the 1st right onto Olympic Dr ( Has stone columns) (stop at gate call me 239 216-2080 for the code or punch in code that I gave you} Note cell phone reception is sketchy at the gate You may have to find a spot for reception than give me a call! Continue on Olympic Drive - Slight left onto Silverado Trail 0.4 mi
Take the 1st right onto Summit Dr 0.3 mi ( This road has a sharp bank to the right)
Turn left onto Wild Turkey Trail - stay towards your left (you will see a “ NO Outlet” sign on the right side of the road. Follow road all the way to the end (about .5 mile. ) the road takes a sharp bank to the left! The House has a GATE and it will be open).

 Richie will be leading Option #1 or #2 depending on what the majority or riders want.

8:30am Option # 1 Richie's Newcomer ride Very easy ride with newcomers in mind. Ride to Pete's Pancakes n Waffles in Cherokee for breakfast then ride to Smoky Mountain National Park to Clingmans Dome for site-seeing. Continue  through the park to the Foothills Parkway. Rest stop at Parkway than continue to rt 129 (the Dragon) The down hill route is much slower and easier. Back toward  Bryson city on 28 & 74.  Total Distance 160 miles

9:00am Option #2 Richie's Ride to Helen Ga.  Very Challenging Ride  on Wayah Rd - Not recommended for first time mountain riders!  Rt 74 to Wayah Rd to 64 W to rt 175/75 into Helen Ga. Have Lunch @ $ 30 for food. Leave Helen via Rt 75 to 75a thru back roads to rt 19 and north on 74 to Bryson City.

Fri - June 23rd Guided and Self Guided Rides TBA 

          Larry's ride to Mt Mitchell ( Long Ride)

Jay's Ride-  ride down the mountain on 28 to Hiawassee and the to Two Wheels in Suches for lunch, and then back to Bryson. Total mileage is around 210.  Long ride. To not conflict with other rides probably do it on Friday. Leave around 8:30??


 Friday Dinner-   Dinner at Morgan Pavilion Put on by the  Dept of Social Services featuring "Fry Bread" (similar to tacos) "Frye Bread is delicious.   It is sort of native to our area usually called “Indian Fry Bread”.    The base is bread that has been fried, then you put chili, cheese, lettuce, onion, salsa, and sour cream.   It is always a huge hit.  $ 10.00  a plate. Southern Cakewalk Contest, Live Entertainment . All Proceedes go to the Kids

  Going away dinner at Ryans Steak House starting at 6 pm
